GLOBE TROTTER - CITY ICONS

UNIQUE WAY OF REPRESENTING CITIES THROUGH DETAILED ILLUSTRATED ICONS

Globe Trotter magazine was looking to do a piece on some of world's best and popular cities. To go with the written content, they wanted to use colorful, illustrated city icons that could represent a global image of the city. While most city icons showcase their most iconic landmarks, I wanted to use a new element to present the global image of a city. After researching on many different aspects of these 4 cities, I decided to use "modes of transport" as my theme to present a city's global yet unique image.

/ SAN FRANCISCO = TRAM + GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

/ MUMBAI = KAALI PEELI + INDIA GATE

/ VENICE = GONDOLA + BRIDGE OF SIGHS

/ BANGKOK = TUKTUK + WAT PHO TEMPLE
