About the event
In an age where electronics are taking over the world, PITARA - a table-top game designed by Jaishree garg, brings back the magic of imagination in a new and exciting storytelling (un)game. Using universal yet abstract pictorial elements, Pitara encourages individual creativity as well as collaborative storytelling and can be played by both kids and adults.
Jaishree designed Pitara as part of her “Inclusive design in Storytelling” thesis at Srishti School of Design with a hope that storytelling or story-making would break the barriers of literacy as we know it and help absolutely anyone, educated or not, spin exciting, absurd tales using the story pitara.
As a part of Children | Literature | Fun at the BLR LIT Fest, we hope to engage kids as well as adults in 2-3 quick story making and storytelling activities using the Pitara. The activities are designed to give you a taste of how…
